Janice Babad

Janice Babad, was born in Washington State into a family of teachers. She earned her B.A. in Community Health Education from Central Washington University where she also worked toward a minor in music and psychology. She graduated with honors from CWU while playing cello in the orchestra, singing in select vocal ensembles, swimming competitively, and leading worship for her local church. Along with husband Bruce, Janice has used her gifts to educate and shape the lives of their two sons Miles, and Julian. Janice has been married to Bruce, professional musician, full time Coordinator of Jazz Studies at Fullerton College, and Professor of Saxophone at Biola University, for 38 years. Mrs. Babad is certified through the Institute for Excellence In Writing and taught for Biola Youth Academics for the six years. Janice is excited to begin her seventh year teaching with Star Homeschool Academy.
