Anjeanette Himes

Anjeanette Himes earned a bachelor’s degree in Christian Education and Elementary Education as well as a Master’s in Education at Biola University. She taught 3rd grade in Whittier until she and her husband started their family. She began homeschooling when her oldest child was starting Kindergarten, thinking it would be for one year but this year will be her 16th year homeschooling. Mrs. Himes works part time as the Children’s Ministry Director at a local church in La Habra. Her favorite subject has always been math. Geometry was her favorite high school math class. Her passion is for kids to enjoy math and see all of the ways math is useful in their everyday lives. Mrs. Himes enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading, walking and baking.
