About Ms. Clark

Betsy Clark graduated from Wheaton College with a B.A. in Christian Education. She also attended Azusa Pacific University where she earned a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction and a K-8 teaching credential. She taught elementary school for 10 years before she and her husband adopted their daughter. Since then, Betsy has used her love of teaching as a Children’s Ministry Director, and taught for co-ops, charter schools, Christian school, and now Star Homeschool Academy.

Betsy and her husband Kenny have 3 kids (in Elementary, Jr. High, and High School) and she has been homeschooling for 11 years. She has a heart for kids with special needs and learning differences and loves to come alongside other homeschool families to help them find curriculum and strategies to educate their children. Her desire is to help students of all learning styles not just gain knowledge, but learn how to be curious, life-long learners. She is excited to be teaching Elementary Science and Social Studies this year because she loves helping kids discover the amazing world God has made and the ways He has made Himself known throughout history. In her spare time, Betsy enjoys going on adventures with her family, paddleboarding, listening to audiobooks, and reading mystery novels.
