About Mrs. Perez
Linnea Perez earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and worked as a materials engineer/chemist for seven years at Rockwell International, supporting the space shuttle program. She has over 25 years experience teaching K-12 students through Rockwell and Boeing Summer Science Camp workshops, numerous homeschool co-ops, The Arbor Learning Community, and Biola Youth Academics. Linnea is married and has four grown children (all were homeschooled) and two energetic goldendoodles!
Teaching science is one of her passions. She believes in a hands-on approach to learning and loves incorporating fun activities and experiments into lessons aimed at making the more difficult scientific concepts understandable to every student. Helping students connect science to real life applications while seeing the hand of God in our world is something she finds very rewarding!
