COURSE DESCRIPTION
This one-semester course covers the basics of economic principles, including economic laws and current economic issues. The concepts of competition and market structure, supply and demand, the role of prices and costs, inflation, and depression are covered. Students study the role of the government, the Federal Reserve, and the citizens to determine how their interaction creates prosperity or poverty. There is also a section dealing with personal finances and Biblical financial principles
